July 3rd 2010, two of the sports biggest Heavy-weights are set to collide. Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin. This fight could very well go down in history as an instant classic, but before these two big boys get it on, let’s have a look at the other fights on the card.

UnderCard

Jon Madsen (5-0) vs Karlos Vemola (7-0)

Many of you may remember Jon Madsen for his stint on TUF 10 “Heavyweights” as the man that used his wrestling/Ground and Pound to open up the nastiest cut ever seen on the reality show. Some say he is too one-dimensional to compete at the highest level. However, since the show has ended, Madsen has went on to keep his undefeated record in tact, by defeating other TUF alumn, Justin Wren and Mostapha Al-Turk. In both bouts, Madsen used his undeniably good wrestling ability to get the win over his respected opponents. Madsen also holds a High School wrestling match win over current UFC Heavyweight King, Brock Lesnar.

Coming in as a new-comer to the UFC, Karlos Vemola will not have it easy in his UFC debut. I know nothing about this guy pretty much, but he does seem to finish his fights. Since 2008, Vemola has amassed an undefeated professional record with 3 wins coming by Knockout and the other 4 by way of submission.

Look for Madsen to utilize his wrestling skill and get this one to the ground, where he should control the fight and walk away with another decision victory.
