Parisyan, Bustamante, Sokoudjou, Kang, More UFC Vets Headed to Impact FC

Karo Parisyan, Murilo Bustamante, Jeff Monson, Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, Paulo Filho and Denis Kang have been confirmed by the promoters with opponents for Impact FC's upcoming cards in Australia on July 10 and July 18.
Additionally, Monson and Filho are in for double duty, slated to fight on both cards. Monson is lined up to fight Bira Lima and then former UFC heavyweight champion Ricco Rodriguez. Meanwhile, Filho will take on Keith Johnson and then UFC and PRIDE veteran Kang.

UFC CONFIRMS LIDDELL VS FRANKLIN FOR VANCOUVER

Speculation has been running rampant for several weeks over reports that Chuck Liddell would face Rich Franklin at UFC 115 instead of original opponent and opposing coach from the current season of "The Ultimate Fighter" Tito Ortiz.
MMAWeekly.com initially reported the rumored bout on March 13.
The UFC has on Monday confirmed those rumors announcing Liddell will indeed face Franklin on June 12 in Vancouver for the main event of UFC 115.
The story surfaced after Ortiz had suffered injuries during training that would prevent him from fighting in the bout against Liddell in June, and it was former middleweight champion Rich Franklin that would step in to replace him.

LOMBARD VS. FILHO SET FOR BELLATOR MAY 13

It looks like former WEC and Pride champion Paulo Filho will try to make another go of it in the United States when he faces Hector Lombard in a middleweight superfight for Bellator Fighting Championships on May 13.
The promotion officially announced the previously rumored bout on Tuesday, stating the fight would be a non-title affair with the venue for the fight still to be determined.
Filho was widely considered one of the top middleweights in the world just a few short years ago, but the Brazilian fell on hard times during his stint with the WEC after moving their when Pride was purchased by Zuffa.
Going 2-1 with the promotion, Filho never quite looked himself in any of his fights ...
