Justin Wren Released by UFC; Tim Credeur Injured, Withdraws From Fight

MEMPHIS -- Justin Wren, who was a cast member of the most recent season of The Ultimate Fighter and who lost his UFC debut in a split-decision at the TUF 10 Finale last Saturday, was cut by the UFC, a source confirmed to FanHouse on Thursday. Wren, who is just 22 years old, did well during TUF, submitting Wes Sims in his first-round matchup before dropping a tight majority decision to eventual TUF champ Roy Nelson in the quarterfinals. Round 1 - A spattering of applause for both fighters. Referee Herb Dean in charge of the evening's first bout. A touch of gloves, and we're underway. Brammer opens with a low kick, then high. Bocek fires back a few stiff hands that are blocked. Brammer sticks with the kicking attack as the pair circles the cage. Bocek lands a nice right hand and clinches against the cage. Bocek scores with knees from the clinch before Brammer backs away. Bocek and Brammer trade hands briefly. Bocek shoots in for a clinch. Quick trip, though Brammer pops back up immediately.
