Bobby Lashley vs. Shane Del Rosario expected at Strikeforce in January

Bobby Lashley has been on a tear in his short career in mixed martial arts, winning all four of his fights, three of which by first round stoppage. Now he is slated to face his toughest challenge to date, 9-0 Shane Del Rosario at Strikeforce in January. According to MMAWorldwide, Del Rosario informed them that he has been offered the fight with Lashley and that both he and Lashley had verbally agreed to the fight. Al that remains is for both undefeated fighters to put pen to paper in order to make the bout official. Bobby Lashley: I’m in Strikeforce to Fight the Best

Bobby Lashley is still primarily known as a professional wrestler. But in an interview Friday morning after the announcement that he has signed with Strikeforce, he said that he's completely committed to mixed martial arts. And Lashley, who will make his Strikeforce debut on January 30, says that while he knows he's not ready to fight the best heavyweights in the world just yet, he hopes he'll be able to soon. UFC NEWS (updated daily): Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell named “The Ultimate Fighter 11″ coaches

His pleas for the job apparently worked; Tito Ortiz will serve as a coach on the upcoming 11th season of "The Ultimate Fighter." UFC officials confirmed the assignment during Saturday's The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort. The other part of the surprise? Ortiz will coach against Chuck Liddell, not Forrest Griffin, on the upcoming season of the reality series, and the coaches will meet in a season-ending fight. After dropping a close split decision to Griffin last month in the UFC 106 main event, Ortiz campaigned for the two to be coaches on "TUF 11." UFC officials, though, chose Liddell instead.
