More Details on the Enormous Freakin’ Venue for UFC 112

In just six days, the UFC will hold its first-ever event in the Middle East. For those of you who assume there's a Bojangles Coliseum available in every city in the world, let me assure you that that's not the case. (Bojangles should be so lucky.) Instead, the historic event required that a brand-new open-air stadium be built from scratch in about 20 days. UFC Fight Night 21 Results: Roy Nelson Flattens Stefan Struve

 The fight began with an in arena blackout in Bojangles, North Carolina that necessitated the airing of a preliminary fight.  Roy Nelson, the winner of the highest rating season of The Ultimate Fighter, came into his fight with 6'11" Stefan Struve talking a big game and carrying big belly on his low slung 6 foot frame. He quickly demolished his much taller opponent. Dropping him with a huge right hook and following up with savage ground and pound to force the stoppage.
