ARLOVSKI ADMITS MISTAKES, WANTS TO FIGHT SOON

Monday, May 17th, 2010
Back to the drawing board. It's an old saying, but it stands true in just about any sport. It holds true for Andrei Arlovski, who has now lost three fights in a row dating back to early 2009, and he's working to get back to the form that saw him regarded as one of the best heavyweights in MMA just a few shot years ago, the UFC championship belt around his waist. The Belarus native faced a tough test against Antonio Silva at Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery on Saturday night, where he struggled in the stand-up game during most of the fight, which has become his strong suit in MMA. Arlovski will take the brunt of the criticism ...

With UFC 113 barely behind us, it's already time to start looking ahead to UFC 114—Rampage vs Evans. The event is May 29th, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, NV. Though a notable name in Forrest Griffin has been taken off the card, the lineup is still exciting for most MMA fans. Scott Jorgensen Should Be the Next WEC Bantamweight Contender

Monday, April 26th, 2010
A few fans of the WEC may have been wondering who will be the first in line to challenge for Dominick Cruz's WEC bantamweight championship. After last night's first ever pay per view for the WEC, there should be little doubts left in their mind. The opening bout of the card was the anticipated rematch between Scott "Young Guns" Jorgensen and Antonio Banuelos, where both fighters put it all on the line and delivered an exciting, back and forth battle for three rounds. Normally, their high-pace fight would have set the tempo for the rest of the card, but those honors had already gone to the ...

WEC Aldo VS. Faber : First Impressions

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010
First off, I would like to say I would rather get this fight for free on Versus. I will also say that if the WEC was going to move into PPV territory, that this is definitely the right fight to do so. The whole card is intriguing.  It all action packed fights, so this is the perfect opportunity for the WEC to look to get into the PPV market. This event is guaranteed to put an explosive end to this excruciatingly bad April.  There are a number of potential fight of the year opportunities on this card. I will be shocked if there isn’t at least one match that will have you on the ...
