Paul Taylor Off UFC 112

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates -- Paul Taylor will not be competing at UFC 112 Saturday night. MMA Fighting learned of the news from UFC sources at Concert Arena in Abu Dhabi. According to the UFC sources, Taylor is suffering from a bad migraine and was not medically cleared to fight. He was scheduled to fight against John Gunderson in undercard lightweight action. ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates -- MMA Fighting spoke to Mohammed al Housani, the UFC's first Arabic-speaking commentator, at Friday's weigh-ins about calling the action for the UFC's first event in the United Arab Emirates. Nicknamed "Mohammed Rogan," the 25-year-old Emirati talked about how he got involved with the UFC and previewed Saturday night's UFC 112 main card. Dana White: Signing Fedor Emelianenko Has Become My Obsession

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates -- Dana White met with the media Thursday at the Yas Hotel in Abu Dhabi, and when the topic of finally signing Fedor Emelianenko to a UFC contract came up, the UFC president stated that signing the former PRIDE heavyweight champion "has become my obsession." White also said that he talked to Emelianenko's management "more recent than you would think" and that he wanted to see Emelianenko, who has a contract with M-1 Global and Strikeforce, in the UFC more than the fans do.
