Scott Coker working on a slew of big fights including Lashley vs. Rogers

January 31st, 2010
Strikeforce CEO, Scott Coker has revealed he’s currently working on the next round of big fights for over the summer, including a potentially blockbuster clash between heavyweights Bobby Lashley and Brett Rogers.

MMA fans and critics alike have been calling for Lashley to take a step up in competition, especially considering how easily he walked through Wes Sims last night in Florida. In Rogers, who last hung with Fedor Emelianenko for almost eight minutes, he would certainly get it.

Other potential fights mentioned include a champion vs. champion clash between DREAM’s Shinya Aoki and the man currently holding Strikeforce gold, Gilbert Melendez, a welterweight title clash between Nick Diaz and Hayoto Sakuri and women’s champ, Cris “Cyborg” Santos taking on Erin Toughill.
