As we get closer to UFC 106 (November 21, 2009), the trash talk between current UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar and his opponent Shane Carwin is starting to heat up.
During a recent interview(Monday, September 28) with The LasVegas Sun, Brock Lesnar is quoted saying the following about Shane Carwin.
“He’s a tough guy. He’s undefeated, but some of the guys he’s beaten aren’t worthy of having on your record.”
“He hasn’t fought anybody. He’s fought (Gabriel) Gonzaga, so I really think he’s 1-0.
“He’s a tough guy and a wrestler. But he’s a Division II national champion — enough said.”

Shane Carwin fired back today at Brock Lesnar in an interview with Heavy.com. Shane’s thoughts on Brock Lesnar:
“This is the first time that I am getting ready for a fight with a little hate for my opponent. He continues to fuel the fire with his ignorant comments about my opponents and my record. Next thing you know, he will tell you his high school was bigger then mine and therefore that’ll be the deciding factor.”
“I am ready. I wish I could kick his ass tomorrow.”
Heavy.com asked
“Have you been able to bring anyone into your camp to try and replicate the size of Brock Lesnar?”
Shane Carwin responded
“Yes. We have been doing a “bring your child to the gym” day so we can deal with temper tantrums and irrational thoughts.”
When Heavy.com asked Shane about his thoughts on Lesnar saying he’s only 1-0. He said
“I agree that Brock is not good with math. Thankfully, the UFC and WWE have paid him enough money to get a math tutor.”
At the end of his interview Shane Carwin did have a little something nice to say about Brock Lesnar
“I would like to thank Brock for allowing this fight to happen. I know he understands the risk involved in fighting someone like me, so I thank him for the opportunity.”
