Bobby Lashley has been on a tear in his short career in mixed martial arts, winning all four of his fights, three of which by first round stoppage. Now he is slated to face his toughest challenge to date, 9-0 Shane Del Rosario at Strikeforce in January.

According to MMAWorldwide, Del Rosario informed them that he has been offered the fight with Lashley and that both he and Lashley had verbally agreed to the fight. Al that remains is for both undefeated fighters to put pen to paper in order to make the bout official.

Strikeforce’s January show, imaginatively dubbed “Strikeforce: Miami” so far not only sees the Strikeforce debut of Bobby Lashley, but the MMA debut of Herschel Walker and the Strikeforce returns of both Nick Diaz and Cris “Cyborg” Santos.
