Trevor Prangley Beats Keith Jardine at Shark Fights 13

Keith Jardine is now on a five-fight losing streak. Jardine, the former Ultimate Fighter contestant who rose through the ranks to the point where he was fighting in main events on pay-per-views in the UFC, was fighting in the main event on a much less prestigious pay-per-view -- Shark Fights 13 -- on Saturday night. But he couldn't get past Trevor Prangley and lost a split decision.  Heading into his scheduled welterweight bout with Jon Fitch at UFC 117 on Saturday night, Thiago Alves failed to make weight. He came in a half pound over the 171-pound limit for a welterweight fight and declined to cut any more weight. He instead fought Fitch at a catchweight and forfeited 20 percent of his fight purse.
